8th BC Paleo Symposium (2009)

The Vancouver Paleontological Society is pleased to host the Eighth British Columbia Paleontological Symposium during May, 2009, in Vancouver, BC.

BCPA symposia are held every two years and bring together professional and amateur paleontologists from the Pacific Northwest. Activities at the 2009 meeting will include abstract presentations, poster displays, fossil displays, paleo-workshops, a paleo-art show, and field trips.

The feature theme will be fossil mammals but talks, posters, and displays on any paleontological topic are invited. The public will be invited to see displays on one day of the symposium, and to bring fossils for identification.
